About Your Trainer
I am a personal trainer that will get you the results you want. I am
a certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor. An ASCA (Australian Strength &
Conditioning Association) Level 1 strength and conditioning coach and have my
Cert 3&4 in Fitness/Personal Training. I am also a Registered Nurse that
works in an Emergency Department. I have earnt my ISKA Level 2 National Kettlebell
Sport Coaching qualification under Vasily Ginko ( 7 times world champion and
world record holder) in which extremly rigorous training was undertaken with
tests on physical ability and technique under his watchful eye.
I have had a life long interest in the martial arts and health and fitness.
I “discovered” the Russian Kettlebell in 2002 which totally changed
the way I train.
I have found it to give the fastest and most effective all round strength and
fitness results, combining resistance and cardiovascular training. All this
in a quick 45 minute workout. No longer do I spend senseless hours pounding
the pavement or using the latest high tech gym equipment to build mirror muscles.
All my training is about effective functional fitness, 45 minutes, three times
a week, is all I need to keep in top shape.
I created my business ‘One On One’ Fitness so more people can benefit
from this effective training method.
I recommend 3 kettlebell training sessions a week with me. These sessions are only 45 minutes long; That is all you need to get rapid results! I guarantee you will leave feeling like you have done a gruelling 2 hour session.
As you could probably guess my focus is on creating amazing endurance, strength and general fitness in all my athletes. It truly is the fastest and sure way to to achieve remarkable results.
You will get the most out of my training if you follow an eating plan as weight loss is 70% diet and about 30% training. For sustainable and rapid weight loss and an increase in all aspects of health and fitness, I strongly recommend the book "The Paleo Diet" by Loren Cordain.
The training is very systematic and I move at your pace. I have developed a system that allows you to move along at a safe and effective pace.
My speciality is training Military, Combat and Emergency personnel.
I also cover strength and power lifting techniques. This is also very popular and also a very old school approach. My training will make you " As strong as you look".
Personal Training
All sessions are paid for a month in advance.
The personal training sessions are 45 minutes long. During these sessions you will be put through an extremly intense training session that utilises a mixture of kettlebells and body weight exercises. Initially the sessions are learning the lifts, then as your conditioning/fitness level improves, the sessions are amped up. I work my athletes to their current level and then a bit more. You will also receive professional coaching in kettlebell sport and power juggling if that is of interest.
These sessions are very popular and are an ongoing learning curve. Unlike a treadmill or a silly machine, you are learning a new skill that takes time. In the end, your mind and body become very integrated as your fitness and health improve out of sight.
